Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

I am writing to you with a deep sense of urgency, holy expectation, and profound gratitude — gratitude that God has placed us together in this extraordinary network of networks for such a time as this.

This summer, the United States of America turns 250 years old. A quarter of a millennium. And as this nation approaches that milestone, I believe with all my heart that we are standing at a kairos moment — a God-appointed threshold where the prayers of His people across the earth could help shape what comes next.

"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." — 2 Chronicles 7:14

Will you consider joining us from across the nations to pray for America from now through to July, as our nation prepares for its 250th dedication to God?

This is not a political call. This is a prophetic one.

Our brothers and sisters on IPC's North American Prayer Council have prepared a powerful prayer document — here — which I urge you to read, pray through, and share widely. It carries three urgent burdens on its heart.

First, a longing for Christ Awakening — a deep, sweeping, Holy Spirit-led revival that reawakens the Church to the magnificence of Jesus. We repent of national and personal pride and cry out for mercy.

"Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you?" — Psalm 85:6

Second, a call to repentance toward America's First Nations — the indigenous peoples whose wounds have gone too long unaddressed by the Church. True revival cannot bypass justice.

"Let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream." — Amos 5:24

Third, a vision for the Islamic peoples — not as enemies to be feared, but as souls deeply loved by God, for whom we intercede with hope and boldness.

"For God so loved the world…" — John 3:16

Friends, America needs the prayers of the global Church. And I believe the global Church needs this moment too — to stand together, in unity, across every nation and tongue, for the sake of His Kingdom.

"The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much." — James 5:16
