Recently I was arrested by an utterance of Jesus. Members of the crowd of 5000 that Jesus had fed asked him, “What must we do to do the works God requires?” (John 6:28) Jesus’ reply emphasized one thing- “The work of God is this, to believe in the one He has sent.”
